1. Chamomile Extract for Anticancer Introduction
Apigenin, also known as acinogen. It is a flavonoid widely distributed in nature. It is mainly found in plants of the genus Rutaceae, Verbenaceae and Selaginaceae. It is widely distributed in vegetables and fruits, especially celery, in a warm tropical climate. A large number of studies at home and abroad have found that apigenin has many biological activities such as anti-tumor, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular protection, anti-virus and antibacterial.

4. Plant Source
Apigenin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in various forms in the form of plant yellow, mainly from other plants such as umbrella plants, celery, chamomile, melissa, perilla and whip. It is also found in grass and valerian.
Chamomile is native to the UK and is grown in Germany, France and Morocco. Roman chamomile and German chamomile have many characteristics in common: about 30 cm high, yellow in the middle, white flowers, and slightly fluffy leaves. Chamomile has the effect of helping sleep, relieving symptoms of inflammation and pain in patients, and relieving insomnia caused by itching of nerves and skin. There are also a large number of medicines and teas grown in China, and the daily sales of herbal teas contain apigenin, which is mainly from mother chrysanthemums and dried chamomiles.
5. Biologicalactivity and pharmacological effects
The molecular structure of apigenin determines its unique physiological and biological properties and therefore has a good biological effect. A large number of studies at home and abroad have found that apigenin is a natural antioxidant that lowers blood pressure, relaxes blood vessels, prevents atherosclerosis, and inhibits tumors and other effects. Compared with other flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol), it has low toxicity and no mutagenicity. Currently, apigenin has certain applications in the pharmaceutical and food industries. However, apigenin has limited oral bioavailability and in vivo activity due to its poor water solubility and reduced intestinal absorption, which limits its application to some extent.
6. Main Functions
1. It can be used to treat premenstrual pain, anxity and insomnia;
2. It has anti-inflammatory and is useful in allergic conditions;
3. It has the function of anti-tumor properties and has potential to reduce the risk of cancer.
